As a Compensation Analyst, you will be responsible for implementing and administering field sales compensation programs, policies and procedures to support Lifetouch’s growth strategy. Ensures pay practices are competitive, compliant, and will attract, motivate and retain necessary talent.

What You’ll Do Here:

  • Administers all field sales incentive compensation programs and ensures that effective systems are developed and maintained to ensure good and timely documentation, record-keeping, and administration.
  • Creates insightful analysis, reports, and dashboards to improve compensation administration and other strategic efforts.
  • Has a detail-oriented and continuous improvement mindset with respect to compensation practices, ensuring accuracy with regard to compensation communications, training and processes.
  • Maintains compensation database files, the development and analysis of custom reports to meet the requirements of company management and staff.
  • Serves as liaison for field partners to address and respond to any compensation plan related inquiries.
  • Monitors the effectiveness of existing sales compensation policies, guidelines and procedures, and partners with business/HR to develop and implement plan revisions which are cost effective and consistent with strategic objectives and compensation best practices.
  • Provides analytical support and consulting on compensation related projects.
  • Ensures others (e.g., project team, stakeholders, sponsors) are kept informed throughout projects including raising issues and concerns.
  • Partners with different business functions (HR, Payroll, SF, Analytics, Production, etc.) on the identification, development and implementation of data and reporting related process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborates with business partners to identify business needs, develops and implements systemic process improvement initiatives.

The Skills You’ll Bring:

  • 7-10 years of experience in compensation, strategy consulting, sales operations or similar analytical roles.
  • Strong understanding of FLSA, Equal Pay and other applicable wage laws to ensure compliance.
  • Knowledgeable of standard sales incentive plan administration.
  • Proven experience working with sales compensation/commission/reporting systems (Salesforce.com preferred) and extensive knowledge and experience with data analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including tables and graphing, advanced MS Access or comparable database skills, and Word and PowerPoint skills in addition to exposure and understanding of HRIS (SAP preferred).
  • Canadian compensation experience preferred.
  • Exhibits sound business judgment, solid analytical skills, solution-orientated and has a proven track record of taking ownership and insisting on high standards.
  • Experience supporting a Sales and/or Operations Organization
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a lean organization with competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

It is helpful, but not required to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, statistics, finance or another field that uses quantitative analysis or equivalent practical experience.
