LOCATION: Apply Digital is hybrid/remote-friendly. The preferred candidate should be based in Latin America, preferably working in hours that align to ET or PT.

Candidates located in Santiago, Chile are able to work out of our Santiago office as remote/hybrid employees. Candidates located outside of Santiago, Chile will be fully remote employees.

THE ROLE:

We are looking for a People Operations (POps) Analyst in Santiago, Chile to take care of all day to day people and culture functions for a growing digital agency. This role will work closely with a global People Operations team that loves to collaborate and brainstorm together. It is an opportunity to work for a human centric organization that prioritizes employee engagement and learning.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle all aspects of the payroll process, including but not limited to: calculating and processing salaries, employee changes, and liaising with payroll providers to ensure payroll.
  • Issue contracts and new hire paperwork, and prepare changes to ensure payroll deadlines are met successfully. 
  • Facilitate a welcoming and effective onboarding experience by coordinating orientations and handling all key details of the new hire experience.
  • Manage employment contracts, new hire paperwork, and legal documentation, and archive appropriately within the systems. Maintain and improve organization of systems.
  • Manage the employee lifecycle by processing moves and changes within the HRIS, including offboarding employees in a timely manner. 
  • Monitor and respond to incoming inquiries within the scope of responsibility and knowledge. Escalate complex inquiries to the regional experience team or POps Partners in a timely manner.
  • Work with the Experience Team and POps Partners to deliver a strong employee experience and complete an accurate processing in our systems. 
  • Understand the HRIS tools and continuously work to optimize and streamline processes. Set-up policies and new work flows in the system to increase accuracy and efficiency.
REQUIREMENTS
  • At least 3 years of generalist/analyst experience in HR.
  • Experience with HRIS and Payroll tools is desirable. 
  • Experience with Canada or US employment law is desirable.
  • Ability to connect and be a source of support for employees, leaders, and other departments.
  • An individual who prefers to collaborate and be part of a team.
