The Autumn Group Staffing and Solutions is Hiring a Human Resource Generalist Near Manila, AR


We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated HR Generalist to join our Americas HR team. The successful incumbent will support our site HR Manager in the delivery of talent strategy initiatives and will be responsible for delivering all aspects of frontline HR services, with a focus on payroll & benefits support, talent acquisition, new employee onboarding and employee relations.
Key Responsibilities
HR Compliance
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintain knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Review, track, and document compliance with necessary training and/ or policies.
  • Responsible for organization and upkeep of hard and soft copies of employee records.
Talent Acquisition & New Employee Onboarding
  • Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for frontline open positions, collaborating with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Review and select resumes during hiring processes and update applicant tracking software as appropriate.
  • Conduct or acquire background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Enter new employee data into HR and payroll systems as necessary.
  • Perform new employee orientation to deliver an exceptional first-day experience.
  • Work with managers to plan onboarding strategies to ensure exceptional first 90-day experience and that new hires get up to speed in the most timely and efficient manner possible.
  • Manage the internal job posting process.
Employee Relations
  • Investigate and support employees when concerns arise, including coaching and efficient problem-solving skills. Work with and coach line managers on successful problem-resolution as needed.
  • Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of employee recognition programs to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Attend and participate in manager-employee meetings, terminations, and investigations, as required.
Manager/ Process Support
  • Support managers in key HR processes such as recruiting interviewing, performance management, and employee coaching.
  • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to performance evaluations.
  • Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Conduct and analyze exit interviews and make actionable recommendations based on data.
Payroll & Benefits Support
  • Under the direction of the Sr. HR Generalist - AMS, audit and finalize weekly timecards in Factory Track.
  • Under the direction of the Sr. HR Generalist - AMS, administer hourly payroll processes in ADP Workforce Now. Manage wage garnishment administration and processes for local employees.
  • Assist in tracking time and attendance.
  • Manage and enter wage step increases.
  • Monitor market trends, conduct salary surveys and benchmark compensation against industry standards to remain attractive to potential and current employees.
  • Oversee Leave Management processes for local employees.
  • Create and maintain accurate reporting, as needed.
  • Act as knowledgeable employee point of contact for benefits administration, questions and enrollment processes.
  • Perform other payroll and benefit related duties, as needed.
Required Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Must be a self-starter, able to handle projects and tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Capacity to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn HRIS and ATS systems.
  • ADP Workforce Now experience strongly preferred, specifically regarding payroll processing & benefits support.
  • Must be familiar with HRIS reporting and concepts.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations (ADA, EEO, FMLA, FLSA) and the ability to appropriately spot employment risk issues.
Education And Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • 5 years of human resource management experience.
  • HR certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) a plus.
