Customer Service Representative: Full-time and Onsite
In keeping with our corporate mission statement, all jobs carry with them an overriding responsibility to provide extraordinary customer service in terms of quality, timeliness, and affordability. A commitment to service excellence is expected of all employees as they perform their tasks.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
¨Greet walk in customers and answer the telephone for the office.
¨ Answer telephone and internet inquiries about service, including determining what services are available for a specific customer.
¨ Handle all aspects of new service activation, from the initial contact through data entries into our billing and customer software system after the order is complete.
¨ Complete follow up calls with customers seven days after installation to ensure satisfaction, give the customer an estimated first bill and try to set up customer with automatic payment option. Also, verify account info such as mailing address, email address, phone number and billing options such as having the bill emailed.
¨ Handle customer billing issues and inquiries, including receiving and posting payments, moving payments electronically into the billing system, maintaining the cash drawer, and making weekly bank deposits.
¨ Handle monthly non-pay disconnect notices.
¨ Create Site Surveys for technicians based on phone and internet inquiries and follow up with prospective customer once the Site Survey is complete.
¨ Handle all trouble calls during normal business hours, including inputting into our trouble ticketing system and following up with the customer after the trouble is closed.
¨ Perform basic troubleshooting with customers before referring troubles to Level 2 Tech Support for resolution.
¨ Handle cash payments.
What you will bring to the table is:
¨ Basic knowledge of customer relationships.
¨ Proficient in MS Office suite of software programs, particularly Word and Excel.
¨ Proficient in Internet browsing.
¨ Excellent oral and written communication.
¨ Ability to communicate with customers, employees and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner; face-to-face, e-mail, and over the telephone.
¨ Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments.
¨ Ability to pay close attention to detail.
¨ Ability to make sound decisions using information at hand.

Qualifications and Education:
-High school diploma or equivalent required.
-One to three years of customer Service experience.
The Customer Service Representative positionis a non-exempt position with compensation beginning from$15.00 per hour, with the opportunity for bonuses, plus benefits that begin day one.
