Chef and Kitchen Manager for Casual Restaurant

Position Overview: We are seeking a creative, hard-working Chef and Kitchen Manager to join our dynamic team. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating exceptional culinary experiences.

Responsibilities: - Design and implement a unique and appealing menu. - Lead and manage a kitchen team. - Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety. - Handle dynamic situations and make quick, effective decisions. - Problem-solve and meet deadlines efficiently. - Oversee inventory, order supplies, and manage kitchen budgets. - Meet quarterly sales goals.

Schedule and Compensation: - Work Schedule: 52 hours per week with two days off (Sunday and Monday). - Annual Salary: $65,000 to $70,000, depending on qualifications. Benefits: Paid time off. - Holidays: Closed on all major holidays.

Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Chef and Kitchen Manager. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. - Exceptional knife skills and culinary techniques. - Bilingual abilities are helpful but not required. - Self motivated and able to work independently. - Ability to handle dynamic situations and make effective decisions. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
