Salrary range pending individuals' skill level and previous experience. This position is for a full-time Project Manager in our Fire Alarm Dept. The ideal candidate is highly organized with strong communication skills, self-motivated and has the ability to work well with shifting priorities in a fast paced environment. The candidate must maintain a close interaction with Project Managers, clients, vendors, and subcontractors.

Work Experience, Skills

• 3 plus years project management experience
• Account management experience.
• NICET Level 2 or higher in fire alarm systems preferred
• Proficient knowledge in the engineering and design of fire alarm system
• Proficient knowledge in local building and fire codes
• Estimating experience
• Some electrical field back ground a plus
• Knowledgeable of AIA construction docs and format
• Must have proficient computer skills in the following (Excel, Word, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam)
• AutoCAD experience beneficial

• Create project change orders
• Manage project budgets.
• Negotiate pricing on equipment and material.
• Procure materials and equipment.

• Complete and submit RFI’s.
• Attend project meetings
• Track project productivity
• Create, track and maintain project schedules
• Create/design Auto-CAD drawings.
• Assist in design and engineering of systems, and shop drawings
• Communicate with the local AHJ.
• Assemble submittal packages and permitting applications.
• Expedite permits for projects.
• Attend site meetings, WIP meetings, and project walk throughs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
