Experience:

• Prior experience operating a Mimaki printer and using Onyx software preferred but not required
• Experience in sign production or a related field is a plus
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic understanding of printing processes and materials
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Excellent time management and organizational skills

Skills:

• Proficiency in operating a Mimaki printer and using Onyx software (training provided if needed)
• Adobe Illustrator Required
• Ability to read and interpret design files and job orders
• Manual dexterity for assembling signs and handling materials
• Basic computer skills for inventory management and record-keeping
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and communicate any issues or concerns

Responsibilities:

• Operate Mimaki printer and Onyx software to produce high-quality real estate signs according to job specifications.
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of printed signs by conducting regular quality control checks throughout the production process.
• Assemble signs using various materials and tools, following established procedures and guidelines.
• Assist with inventory management by stocking materials and tracking inventory levels in the retail space.
• Collaborate with the shop manager and other team members to prioritize and schedule production jobs based on deadlines and customer requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the printer area and assembly stations.
• Learn from experienced team members and seek opportunities for professional growth and development.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• Communicate any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the shop manager promptly.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
