THERMAL SOLAR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - this is NOT a PV Solar position

Job Title: Pool Solar Heating Installer

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday- Thursday, 4- 10hr shifts overtime available as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour (DOE), Commission available

Responsibilities

  • Installation of pool solar heating systems. Including but not limited to sealing roof attachments, equipment racking supports and solar panels
  • Knowledge of plumbing required
  • Perform all construction tasks per manufacturer’s installation guidelines
  • Perform site survey activities independently
  • Assist in tracking inventory for each project
  • Prepare, load, and organize installation vehicles per installation requirements
  • Attend mandatory training sessions on new products, installation methodology and safety
  • Troubleshoot, test, repair, and service pool solar heating systems
  • Maintain and clean up the job site
  • Properly use Personal Protective Equipment

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to make multiple trips up and down a ladder, daily
  • Ability to lift, squat, deadlift, pull and carry up to 50 lbs., daily
  • Ability to work at the ground level, kneeling, or bending daily
  • Ability to kneel and stand repeatedly (lunges) daily
  • Comfortable in tight spaces (attic, crawlspaces, etc.)
  • Comfortable working on roofs of all heights and different slopes/ pitches
  • Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold, etc.)

Qualifications:

  • MUST HAVE SOLAR THERMAL EXPERIENCE and ABLE TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY
  • Valid state driver's license & clean driving record
  • US work authorization
  • Plumbing Experience
  • Reliable and good attendance.
  • Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must have a positive attitude.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Team player, respectful to coworkers and those around you
  • Respectful to homeowners and their property

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
