Metal Panels Inc is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales

Locally owned and operated, MPI maintains lite manufacturing & heavy distribution centers in Tulsa and Kansas City. MPI has grown by providing our valued customers with quality products, timely delivery, and our best-in-class personalized service.
Metal Panels Inc is looking for an Inside Sales Representative for our Kansas City Office who will provide a positive sales process for our customers. This will be accomplished through first-rate communication skills, prompt responsiveness on the phone or in person at the sales counter. 
Top Duties
  • Experience with building trades or working at the front counter of a lumberyard or similar fields.
  • Communicate with the customer through phone, email, and in-person.
  • Have the ability to interpret customer drawings, or material list, to then convert to a quote or order for production.
  • Requires strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exhibits good communication skills with customers, fellow sales reps, and production personnel.
  • Project a positive, professional attitude in all dealings with customers.
  • Maintain communication with Sales and/or Production personnel as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean work area.
Skills
  • An unwavering passion for exceptional customer service.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Basic Arithmetic – ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Knowledge of computing basic formulas.
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to work successfully both independently and within a team environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Bi-lingual (Speak fluent English and Spanish) a plus.
Education
  • High school or equivalent degree
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: DOE base rate, plus monthly commission, and quarterly profit sharing.
