HR Administrator
Herndon VANavitas Business Consulting is actively seeking an HR Administrator to join our team at the Headquarters in Herndon, VA. This role supports various departments within the organization and requires on-site presence.
The HR Administrator will be instrumental in supporting our HR department by overseeing diverse HR functions such as onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and employee engagement.
Duties And Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation sessions, paperwork preparation, and ensuring a seamless integration into the company.
  • Manage the offboarding process for departing employees and contractors, including exit interviews and the return of company property.
  • Oversee benefits administration, including enrollments, modifications, and terminations, and act as the primary contact for employee benefits inquiries.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to create and execute employee engagement initiatives that promote a positive work environment and boost employee morale.
  • Address employee relations issues, including the investigation and resolution of complaints and conflicts confidentially and promptly.
  • Maintain precise and current employee records and HR databases, complying with applicable regulations and company policies.
  • Partner with other departments to facilitate HR initiatives and projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in HR administration or a similar role, with a preference for those with IT industry experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficient in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite, with a preference for knowledge of Paylocity.
