Navitas Business Consulting is actively seeking an HR Administrator to join our team at the Headquarters in Herndon, VA. This role supports various departments within the organization and requires on-site presence.
The HR Administrator will be instrumental in supporting our HR department by overseeing diverse HR functions such as onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and employee engagement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation sessions, paperwork preparation, and ensuring a seamless integration into the company.
- Manage the offboarding process for departing employees and contractors, including exit interviews and the return of company property.
- Oversee benefits administration, including enrollments, modifications, and terminations, and act as the primary contact for employee benefits inquiries.
- Collaborate with the HR team to create and execute employee engagement initiatives that promote a positive work environment and boost employee morale.
- Address employee relations issues, including the investigation and resolution of complaints and conflicts confidentially and promptly.
- Maintain precise and current employee records and HR databases, complying with applicable regulations and company policies.
- Partner with other departments to facilitate HR initiatives and projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in HR administration or a similar role, with a preference for those with IT industry experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite, with a preference for knowledge of Paylocity.
