As an apartment groundskeeper or porter, you maintain grounds and amenities for the exterior and curb appeal of buildings, leasing offices, parking lots, and other community buildings owned by your employer. Your responsibilities include removing trash from all buildings, especially the exterior, on a daily basis, helping clean and prepare market-ready units, and completing tasks for the property manager as assigned. Other duties include assisting with snow removal if applicable, spreading salt on sidewalks and driveways, and troubleshooting and repairing carpentry, electrical, and mechanical problems. You are expected to report any maintenance concerns to your manager and ensure unsafe conditions are addressed quickly. You must also ensure the business complies with federal, state, and local safety laws.

Key Responsibilities:

· Transform recently vacated homes into ready-to-occupy apartments.

· Perform tasks like trash removal, bulb replacement, appliance installation, and general punch item repairs.

· Ensure homes pass inspections for new move-ins.

Qualifications:

· Reliable transportation.

· Strong work ethic, dependability, and a team player attitude.

· Basic hand tools are essential, and power tools are a plus.

· Ability to lift 40-50 lbs.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
