**Job Summary:** We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for submitting medical claims to insurance companies and payers, ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement for services provided. **Duties:** - Review and verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors - Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies - Follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe - Check each insurance payment for accuracy and compliance with contract discount - Call insurance companies regarding any discrepancy in payments if necessary - Identify and bill secondary or tertiary insurances - Research and appeal denied claims - Answer all patient or insurance inquiries in a professional manner **Experience:** - Proven experience as a Medical Biller or similar role - Knowledge of medical billing practices and regulations - Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD-9, ICD-10 coding, and DRG systems - Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and medical office software - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment where your skills will be valued.
