Position Summary:
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly accounting tasks. This position will be responsible for adhering to all accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including heavy data entry.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Day-to-day financial transactions including Daily Bank Transaction Entries.
• Creation of Bills, Item Receipts, and other reports to complete operational process.
• Handling all vendor correspondence via phone or email.
• Meet specified deadlines provided by management.
• Monitoring vendor accounts regularly.
• Ensuring bills are entered and paid in a timely and accurate manner.
• Investigating, reviewing, and resolving any questionable invoice items, prices, and signatures associated with the processing of orders.
• Communicating any discrepancies and concerns with the CFO and Controller.
• Filing, maintaining and distributing vendor files and records.
• Verifying vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
• Participating in the month end close and schedule team meetings.
• Perform other duties as required by management to support the Accounting and Operation Departments.

Experience:

• At least 1-2 years of Accounts Payable experience preferred but not required.
• QuickBooks experience a plus.
• Microsoft Excel and Outlook experience a plus

Job Type: Full Time

• Hours - 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. with 1-hour lunch break.

Salary:

• 45k-55k a year.
