Nexeo HR is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, detail-conscious professional for an Accounts Payable position for a rapidly growing full-service glazier contractor located in the Englewood, CO area. Candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent. An Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred. 3-5 years of construction accounting experience. Must be able to pass a Background Check.

Responsibilities 

• Receives and verifies expense reports; reconciles expense and other financial reports with account balances and other office records.

• Facilitates payment of vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies.

• Ensures outstanding obligations are credited upon payment, identifies discount opportunities, and issues purchase order amendments or stop-payment orders as needed.

• Assists with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and transactions.

• Records entry of, verifies documentation for, and distributes petty cash.

• Calculates and reports sales tax based on paid invoices.

• Other accounts payable related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy.

• 3-5 Years of Construction Accounting Experience or an Associate’s degree in Accounting or similar. 

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs.

• Must be able to learn other accounting software systems.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.

Pay 

$30.00 Per Hour

Schedule 

Day Shift | In Office I 7:30am - 4:30pm I Monday - Friday

**Temporary Contract (3-4 Month Duration)
