**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented Property Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical accounting, multi-family property accounting, financial analysis and asset management. We are a growing organization with room for growth as we continue to buy more properties each year.
This role involves managing accounts payable, conducting account reconciliations, utilizing QuickBooks and Yardi software, and applying financial concepts to support the organization's financial goals.
**Responsibilities:**
- Manage accounts payable processes and ensure accurate and timely payments
- Perform account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records
- Utilize QuickBooks software for financial data management and reporting
- Apply accrual accounting principles to ensure proper financial reporting
- Support financial audits by providing necessary documentation and information
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement -
**Skills:**
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and principles
- Experience in private equity accounting preferred
- Proficiency in technical accounting practices
- Knowledge of account reconciliation processes
- Ability to conduct detailed financial analysis
- Understanding of accrual accounting methods
