Job Description

Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dispatch and transportation. The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear directives to drivers to carry out their assigned routes.
• Field calls, emails, and texts from drivers to answer any questions that may have such as route questions, pick-up or delivery instructions, and/or in-transit issues that may arise.
• Ensure that drivers are given all the proper information in order to complete their assigned dispatch.
• Proactively resolve issues as needed with professionalism

Skills:

• Must have 1-2 years Dispatch experience in Truck Load or Port
• Basic knowledge of local routes, interstates highway and cities
• Knowledge of dispatching with an ability to project driver arrival times
• The ability to work and communicate with multiple departments and a variety of personnel – both internal and external
• Analytical and detail-oriented mindset
• Microsoft Office products

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
