Responsibilities: Prepare and/or review the reconciliation of accounts, post journal entries and maintain a complete and accurate general ledger in accordance with accounting principles and reporting schedules so that the organization has a full and accurate statement of its financial position. Prepare Sales Tax Returns Participate in scheduled accounting cycles and adhere to associated deadlines (e.g. month-end, year-end, etc.). Check and analyze financial information and prepare more complex financial reports and accounting statements so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making financial decisions. Participate and lead where needed in the ERP system implementation. Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices. Ensure compliance with internal control policies in a SOX environment. Skills: 6 months - 3 years of accounting experience ideal. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Process improvement mindset. Attention to detail, demonstrated integrity and professionalism. Ability to multitask and prioritize a diverse range of tasks. Proven ability to perform under pressure and stress and to adjust plans to meet changing needs and requirements. Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel. Experience with financial and accounting reporting systems. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications: CPA a plus.
