This permanent position is for a Controller who will work in the Santa Monica, California region.Your responsibilities in this role- Perform tasks associated with month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations & G/L analysis- Advance Finance Department initiatives, such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, as needed, with research, planning and implementation- Meet client expectations by reviewing deliverables of self and team to make sure they meet client satisfaction- Prepare cash-flow reports that project cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, and handle daily cash management- Drive the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques to ensure the timely cash collection- Present monthly financial reports to executive committee and partners- Work closely with executive team and partners to ensure that firm-wide operation is efficient and effective- Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts and monitor on a monthly basis- Manage finance department operations, including accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll- Comfortable in taking on tasks beyond formal job responsibilities- Assess, execute and streamline policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies
