Where You’ll Work & The Scope:

Vishay Columbus, NE is currently seeking a Full Time Human Resources Representative who is responsible for HR generalist activities in the administration of: recruitment/selection, payroll, benefits, compensation, HRIS, employee relations/activities, EEO/AAP, health/safety/workers compensation, and HR office duties. Specifically works with company management to handle personnel policy implementation and employee issues.

How You’ll Help Us Build The DNA of Tech:

  • Handles recruitment/selection activity, EEO/AAP reporting, and headcount reporting.
  • Administers benefits programs including ongoing updating, reporting, billing issues, and monitoring of employee changes.
  • Primary contact for applicants during the onboarding and orientation process.
  • Review applicant and current employee data to design creative recruiting strategies to meet the headcount levels required to meet current business demand
  • Handles payroll, reporting and HRIS system to ensure accuracy and timely data entry.

Experience You’ll Need:

  • BS or AA Degree in Human Resources or Business Management.
  • 1- 3 years related experience in Human Resources.
  • Solid analytical and communication skills.
  • Proficient utilizing Microsoft Office products.(Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience working with HRIS systems(Workday) is beneficial.
  • Bi-lingual(Spanish/English) Communication skills strongly preferred.
  • Must have a positive attitude and be a team player.
