Albany Management is seeking a experienced Grounds Technician for our residential apartment communities in Clifton Park and Waterford. This is a year round position.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience
- Knowledge of mowing, pruning, trimming, snow removal and other grounds maintenance work
- Knowledge of plants, landscape design, irrigation, erosion and building maintenance is a plus!
- How to use tools or be trainable
- Must be good natured with a good work ethic
- Must be dependable and possess solid work history
- Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Cut away dead, obstructive or excess branches from trees and shrubbery
- Prune or treat trees and shrubs using gas operated machinery and handsaws, sheers and clippers
- Reshape trees and shrubs to create aesthetically pleasing shapes
- Water and fertilize trees and plants
- Planting trees and shrubs
- Mowing, blowing, weed eating, leaf clean up, edging and mulching
- Snow removal/salting
