Long established Real Estate Management Company providing quality of life and work balance seeking leasing professional to to assist with the leasing processes for new tenant applications.

MUST REPORT TO THE OFFICE FULL TIME

DUTIES:

· Interact with Brokers, applicants, potential tenants, existing tenants, superintendents, property managers, etc. regarding new move-in and availability of apartments and accounts receivable matters

· Interact with internal departments such as legal, maintenance, property management and compliance regularly

· Answer all leasing inquiries by phone and email and assist with leasing mailings

· Ensure accuracy of tenant files and maintain/update complete working lease files

· Generate resident correspondences

· Prepare, execute and distribute applications and/or lease documents, including renewals

Working knowledge of DHCR and Rent Stabilization Regulations for NYC and pertinent regulations with government agencies and/or the ability to quickly learn and apply such regulations is a BIG PLUS (but not required)!

· Generate resident correspondences and other special projects as needed

· Assist with leasing renewals and mailings

· Post on social media

REQUIREMENTS:

· 3 years residential leasing experience

· Ability to prioritize and multi-task in VERY fast paced, HIGH VOLUME, deadline oriented environment
·Familiarity with regulations and government agencies such as Section 8, SCRIE, DRIE a HUGE PLUS!
· Strong written, verbal, and oral communications skills

· Must be detail oriented

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
