Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for helping customers. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing product information, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. This position will report directly to the Director of Flooring.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides accurate, detailed, and timely responses to telephone inquiries from the general public for a variety of information regarding multiple services and service levels
  • Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs
  • Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with professionalism and efficiency
  • Perform basic office duties such as copying, filing, typing documents, and scheduling
  • Resolve customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions, and follow up to ensure resolution
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our product offerings to effectively assist customers
  • Process orders, returns, and exchanges in a timely manner
  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions
  • Collaborate with the flooring team to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized showroom
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • A positive, customer-focused attitude
  • Basic knowledge of flooring products is a plus, but not required (training provided)
