Rizzo Center is Hiring a GROUP ROOMS COORDINATOR Near Chapel Hill, NC
Summary
Position will manage group reservations and group rooms inventory as part of the convention services process, specifically:
- Be the liaison between the client and the planner to obtain, process and handle group rooming lists, reservations, and reservations requests by inputting data into the reservations system.
- Responsible for the creation and maintenance of group blocks and posting masters when group goes definite. Maintenance includes the accurate configuration including, but not limited to, inventory allocation, rate creation, booking links, segmentation and queues/discrepancies
- Create pick up reports on Monday and lead block release meeting weekly and provide reporting to the team
- Liaison with revenue team to ensure inventory is accurate and available for sale
- Run 21 Day Forecast, sent to hotel team
- Review and respond to RFPs including Mandatory Consortia/Annual Programs
- Updates on distribution channel verbiage in concert with Sales Coordinator
- Review and respond to RFPs including Mandatory Consortia/Annual Programs
- Create forecasts for leisure and work with DOSM to finalize full rooms forecast
- Plan group meetings and events as needed
- Coordinator should be comfortable working in multiple systems and researching/resolving discrepancies between them.
