Job Description:
Audio/Video Technicians with low voltage, A/V cabling, and mechanical skills. The technicians will install and terminate cables, connecting Audio/ Video and home network equipment’s. Operate audio and video equipment including AV receiver, Television, projectors, home network devices and related electronic equipment.
Job Duties:
- Pre-wiring of Low voltage cable. Label and Terminate cables.
- Install audio, video, automation, home networking, and home theater systems.
- TV wall mount installation
- Rack wiring.
- Read and interpret design documents and plans.
- System troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Assist programmer with system testing.
- Regularly communicate project status and needs with project manager.
- Monitor and maintain job site and tool clean. Ensure tools are stored
- in an organized fashion.
Essential Qualifications:
- Experience working on construction sites and with hand tools Excellent A/V technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of basic low voltage cabling, terminate cables
- Must be able to work safely following company policy/procedures.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- Must be able to work at heights, off of a ladder and in confined spaces, lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 75 pounds Must be able to climb on ladder, work in confined space and lift up to 50 Lbs
· Self-motivated with ability to follow-through and exercise good judgment; creative and resourceful.
Weekly day range: Monday to Thursday 8 to 5 PM.
