Facilities Technician 
$24/hr. entry-level, temp-to-hire opportunity with a leading sporting goods manufacturer! This company designs and develops top-quality golf equipment, apparel, footwear, and accessories! As a facilities technician, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day maintenance of the facilities, the production equipment within the facility and special work projects to support the individual departments within the company. Candidate will also support maintenance functions in Tijuana Mexico and must be able to travel to Mexico. This role is full-time and on day shift with 7am-3:30pm.

Facilities Technician Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• 1 year of relevant experience.
• The employee is frequently required to stand, walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
• Employee shall be able to pick up 50lbs and carry it a short distance.
• Set up and break down of various events both on site and at nearby local properties.
• Communication Proficiency: the candidate should have a basic understanding of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word to properly fill out data logs as required for compliance tracking.
• Problem Solving/Analysis; the ability to trouble-shoot and repair medium-sized pieces of production equipment.
• Knowledge of Electrical systems and able to do minor repairs, ballast, and re-lamping functions.
• Knowledge of pneumatics as it pertains to production equipment is a plus.
• An understanding of general building maintenance including minor building repairs.
• Most importantly, being a team player within the organization, which is often fast paced.
• Clearance to travel between the US and Mexico to help support maintenance functions in our Tijuana facility.

Facilities Technician Responsibilities:

• Performs typical maintenance tasks to support the assembly floor and the entire facility.
• Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machinery and the building or grounds as required.
• Required to work within our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) reporting all work performed, parts used during repair and maintenance tasks.
• Assisting in the installation of new manufacturing equipment.
• Calibration of equipment or machinery.
• Routine inspection and testing of equipment and machinery – this needs to be planned to ensure minimal disruption of production and design processes.
• Preventative maintenance tasks to minimize unexpected issues with equipment.
• Responding to alerts and operation messages – carrying out corrective procedures and repairs in line with SOPs and maintenance protocols.
• Clear documentation of both routine checks and repairs needed, in line with both internal and external protocols and procedures.
• Maintains logs of any downtime within the manufacturing system.
• May be involved in training of production staff of routine maintenance procedures.
• Includes being able to access the roof from a roof ladder for maintenance and small fan motor change out.
• Changing waterless urinal inserts as required.
• Maintain Inventory of Break Room including coffee and supplies.
• Maintain Inventory of janitorial supplies.

Compensation for roles at Suna Solutions varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific client, office or remote location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Suna Solutions provides a reasonable pay scale to include the hourly or salary range that Suna Solutions reasonably expects to pay for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below.
