Job Description: 

Our Field Service Technicians experience a unique opportunity to employ their technical experience by collaborating with healthcare professionals and leading technical initiatives in medical device technology.

You will be responsible for installing both hardware and software for automated medication dispensing devices, and then delivering education to the healthcare professionals within healthcare systems throughout the United States. This position requires you to travel 100% locally, regionally, and nationally. Due to the travel, the role requires open availability Monday through Friday. The position would involve working 28-32 hours per week as needed at each site location, plus travel time. Travel is during the business week and would see you home for the weekends.

 Responsibilities: 

• Organizing, testing, and updating medical devices; installing and configuring hardware, software, and network products.
• Set-up and organization of equipment and workstations.
• Conduct routine checks and record data from product tests after installation and configuration. 
• Troubleshooting networking or device issues as they arise during installations
• Educate healthcare staff on utilization of the device and software solution
• Occasional assignments for upgrades, preventative maintenance or Windows 7 to 10 migrations
• Partner with a team of support staff, manage project timelines and customer needs.
• Per-diem position requiring travel and open flexibility 

Experience Requirements and Preferences:

• Minimum 1 year related technical experience required
• Strong profession business acumen and communication skills required
• Must be comfortable with basic software programs and Microsoft operating systems
• Ability to assemble and disassemble equipment and devices required
• 3 years’ experience in field technical role with focus on both hardware and software installations preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
• Experience in the IT field, IT Help desk, biomedical, electronics field service, engineering, or pharmacy technician roles preferred
• Prior military veterans with experience in an electronics, pharmacy or IT related MOS encouraged to apply!

Job Requirements:

• An active and unrestricted driver license required
• Must have a personal vehicle and willing to use it for job related assignments
• Travel locally, regionally and nationally weekly to support customer needs required
• Must be located within 1 hour of a major airport
• Ability to work independently in a customer setting with minimal supervision required
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds required
• Ability to clear hospital vendor credentialing requirements, including proof of vaccination status, required

Duties may require compliance with client requirements that all those performing services on-site be fully vaccinated.

The potential base pay range for this role is $20 - $30 per hour. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
