Job Location: Canonsburg, PA

Job Description:

Candidate will perform the internal day to day operations of the district Human Resources department.

Duties and responsibilities of Human Resources Coordinator (including but not limited to):

  • Welcome potential candidates into office and log information
  • New hire onboarding & orientation
  • Mitigate any logistical issues that arise between onboarding & site orientation
  • Monitoring former employees within HRIS & establishing contact when required
  • Coordinate project demands & locating employees to provide manpower when requested
  • Ensure that documents are completed, accurate and in compliance with state/federal law & established procedures
  • Enter & maintain organization of all personnel documents, both paper & electronic
  • Maintain & distribute job specific personnel rosters
  • Assist with administrative tasks as requested from Management

Qualifications/Skills of Human Resources Coordinator:

  • Minimum of two years of experience working in HR
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and database management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as on a team
  • Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple projects/activities
  • Must be able to travel as needed
