Payroll/HR Associate (Long Term Temp Assignment)

Responsibilities:

• Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll in ADP for both union and nonunion employees.
• Verify work hours and initiate various types of deductions including union dues, health or garnishments.
• Maintain HR and update payroll records.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and use ADP to track and calculate PTO entitlements.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of union and nonunion payroll experience; real estate and/or construction industry experience is preferred
• Strong administrative skills; you will be preparing offer letters, onboarding documents, and some discipline notices
• HR skills/experience is a plus
• Proficiency in Excel
• Experience with prevailing wage, 32BJ, NOITU, Local 6, Local 94 is preferred.
