Rand Construction, a local Brighton, MI commercial general contractor, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable/Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate(s) will have a strong background in accounts payable and be detail-oriented. We are flexible with this position being one full-time or two part-time people.
***Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- All facets of Accounts Payable
- Subcontractor Compliance, including sworn statements, waivers, insurance and payments
- Master subcontracts, subcontracts and change order processing
- Transmittals, submittals, rfi logs
- Project closeout
- Follow up on required documents
- Maintain filing systems & electronic files
- General office duties including ordering of supplies, mail, phone
- Other activities which may, from time to time, be required
***Qualifications:
- High School degree
- 3-5 years Accounts Payable experience. Construction experience preferred, but not required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task & prioritize tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Sage construction software experience is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, to enable clear and effective interaction with colleagues and individuals outside the Company
