Vice President of Human Resources

We are actively seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to lead the company’s HR function, including recruiting, benefits, employee relations, training and development, compensation, and administering company policies and best practices. This is an executive leadership position but will require the ability to transition between strategic planning/close partnership with the C-suite and tactical implementation of initiatives.

What You’ll Do

  • Direct and oversee all Human Resources activities, including recruiting, benefits, safety, legal compliance, compensation, performance management, employee relations, HRIS, HR analytics, and integration with payroll.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to define the organization’s long-term mission and goals; creates and implements talent strategies that align with goals and drives results through a high-performing, highly engaged workforce.
  • Identify key performance indicators for the organization’s human resources and talent management functions and assesses the organization’s success and market competitiveness based on these metrics.
  • Research, develop, and implement competitive compensation, benefits, performance management and employee incentive programs.
  • Develop and lead the company’s organizational development programs to include technical skills development, leadership and coaching, management skills, and interpersonal effectiveness.
  • Ensure organizational design is clear and effectively aligned to company objectives.
  • Develop and manage the HR budget.
  • Ensure records are maintained appropriately and in compliance with employment laws and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 10 years of related and progressive HR experience
  • Minimum 3 years managing HR professionals.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required. Advanced degree or MBA preferred.
  • High level of business acumen with a focus on data-driven decision making and problem-solving required
  • Change leadership – must have strong ability to facilitate organizational change through business leaders.
  • Business Partner – able to build strong relationships and act as an effective and credible coach to leaders.
  • HR Process Leadership – must be comfortable with implementing enterprise-wide HR processes and initiatives.
  • Talent Champion – Able to identify top talent, develop, and engage the workforce.
  • Organizational Design – able to facilitate decisions regarding organizational design and align skills and knowledge requirements accordingly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to present complex information in terms easily understandable to others outside the HR field.
  • Strong knowledge of MS 365
  • Proficiency with a variety of HRIS systems.
  • Intellectual curiosity, with a drive toward developing solutions.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
