Responsibilities: As the HR Manager and Recruiter at Complete Mechanical Services, you will play a crucial role in shaping our workforce and contributing to the success of our projects. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Talent Acquisition:
a. Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract, assess, and onboard qualified candidates for various positions within the organization
b. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and create job descriptions that accurately reflect the requirements of each role
2. Employee Relations:
a. Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, facilitating conflict resolution, and promoting open communication.
b. Conduct exit interviews to gather valuable feedback and identify areas for improvement
3. Performance Management:
a. Implement and manage performance review processes to ensure employee growth and development.
b. Provide guidance to managers on performance-related matters and contribute to the continuous improvement of performance management systems.
c. Communicate with managers and department heads to ensure that employees are getting timely reviews and thorough communication on company policies.
d. Continuous follow up with employees and their supervisors throughout the employee life cycle
4. HR Policy Development:
a. Develop and update HR policies in alignment with legal requirements and industry best practices.
b. Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations to mitigate risks and maintain a fair and inclusive workplace.
5. Benefits Administration:
a. Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
b. Communicate benefits information to employees and address inquiries related to benefits packages.
6. Continuous Improvement
a. Advise executive leadership on policies and decisions to improve the business
b. Work with the current company leaders on our philanthropic pursuits for the community
Qualifications:
1) Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred but not necessary.
2) Proven experience as an HR Manager and Recruiter, preferably in the industrial or construction sector.
3) Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
4) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
5) Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
6) SHRM Certification is a plus but not required
7) 5 years minimum experience as an HR leader
8) Must be willing to travel to jobsites/remote locations

Schedule
1) Salary position that may require you to take phone calls/help our employees after hours
a. Standard in office hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
