ITAC Solutions is Hiring a Sr. Tax Accountant Near Birmingham, AL

Compensation: $100K (DOE)
What You'll Be Doing:
- Perform a variety of accounting and tax tasks under guidance.
- Demonstrate technical skills and adherence to firm standards.
- Meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
- Participate in planning and scheduling client work.
- Prepare and index work papers to document procedures and conclusions.
- Handle a broad range of accountant tasks efficiently.
- Direct and instruct assistants on task performance and work paper review.
- Possess sufficient technical knowledge to supervise staff accountants.
- Minimum of 3-10 years of experience in public accounting, demonstrating a progression in the complexity of auditing and accounting tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a master’s degree in accounting from an accredited college or university.
- Either holds a current and valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or is working toward obtaining the license by taking and passing the CPA exam.
- Proficiency in Excel
- Strong experience with tax software programs.
