Compensation: $70 – 80K/year – dependent on experience.
What you’ll be doing:
- Mentor and provide continuous training to a staff of 6 AP specialists.
- Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of GL coding.
- Ensure that all payments to client and firm invoices are done accurately and promptly.
- Responsible for year-end 1099 reporting at State and Federal levels.
- Oversee and coordinate unclaimed property and use tax reporting.
- Collaborates with the Accounting Manager, and additional firm management on projects and cross-departmental initiatives.
- 7 years of Accounts Payable experience.
- Strong supervisory experience required – delegating tasks, managing performance, and training staff.
- Advanced Excel skills required.
- Experience with ChromeRiver
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field – highly preferred!
- Experience in the legal field.
