Anne Arundel Gastroenterology Associates (AAGA), a Covenant Physician Partner, is hiring a full-time Pre-Registration Associate to join our growing team.

Please note the pay range for this position is $20-$25hr.

About the Opportunity

Shift: Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with a half-hour lunch break. AAGA is not open on weekends or holidays.

This position is responsible for accurate and timely application of payments to accounts, daily balancing, and reconciliation.

Essential Duties

• Process credit card transactions.
• Posts all responsible payments and adjustments to the specified patient account in accordance with the current policy and procedure.
• Ensures accuracy of posting by balancing deposit totals to system-generated reports.
• Properly close all assigned batches in a timely manner.
• Responsible for manual cash posting.
• Maintains daily logs and reconciliation.

About the Candidate

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Two years of patient account billing or payment posting experience preferred.
