ATTEBURY GRAIN LLC is Hiring a Human Resources Manager Near Amarillo, TX

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR practices and processes, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits administration, and legal compliance. The HR Manager will work closely with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the company's goals and objectives.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Oversee the implementation of company policy and procedure related to core human resource functions.
  • Develop and conduct training to managers and supervisors on compliance with human resource policy and procedure.
  • Conduct annual salary surveys for all positions
  • Act as the liaison between employees and employer to assist in establishing a positive working atmosphere and promoting a high-level of morale and motivation.
  • Ensure company’s compliance with state and federal employment rules and regulations as well as government reporting requirements (i.e. new hire reporting, child support reporting, EEO-1, ACA, Multi-worksite, Annual MVR, 401k Audit, General Liability Audit, disability, and worker’s compensation claims and audit etc)
  • Maintain human resource department budget, and implementation of the human resource department strategic plan including: engagement survey action plan, Benefit Analysis target range, succession planning, and risk/liability management.
  • Oversee employee recruitment (developing relationships with feeder schools, recruitment firms, and staffing agencies) and retention program (conducting engagement surveys, competitive compensation, facility visits, and employee care programs).
  • Process employee payroll, expenses, 401k contributions, and child support.
  • Serve as the company benefits administrator by conducting open enrollment annually for each location, processing new hires/terms, HSA, FSA, 401k loans, withdrawals, and rollovers, assisting in filing claims, verifying medical benefits and all other benefit related needs.
  • Track and report contract labor, expenses, overtime, and run other reports as necessary for all departments.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Maintain HR records and documentation, including employee files and HRIS data
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in HR management

Minimum Job Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Must possess comprehensive knowledge and understanding of employment rules and regulations including EEO, AD, FMLA, FLSA, ERISA, ACA, and OSHA.
  • Must have a basic understanding of TN and H1-B visas.
  • Must possess strong, interpersonal and professional written and verbal skills.
  • Must be able to communicate with others in a group setting.
  • Must be able to motivate others to produce high-quality results.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks under possible strenuous timeframes.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Must be able to utilize general office equipment.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Administration or a related field, or equivalent of 5 years of experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources required.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • SHRM or PHR Certification

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires sitting and possible standing for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to read, write and speak.
  • Must be able to lift 10 lbs. or more.

  • Develop and maintain cordial working relationships with customers, vendors, other employees and all Management staff
  • High level of initiative and ability to work independently
  • Job performance impacts functions and activities within organizational unit
  • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Use of personal vehicle may be required.
  • Frequent travel (day and overnight) required for business related purposes
