Who are we looking for ?We are currently seeking an individual to join our team and contribute to the administration of our computerized systems, as well as any associated tasks crucial for meeting Altoona Supply Chain objectives. This role will involve collaborating closely with colleagues to ideate and execute enhancements to our systems, aiming for increased functionality, control, and efficacy. Additionally, the incumbent will receive training to support various administrative responsibilities across the facility, as directed by their supervisor.
What will you be doing ?
- Assist in the administration of the computerized systems of the company as assigned by the department supervisor.
- Assist with the accumulation, input, and distribution of manufacturing information for the specific tasks assigned.
- Perform the necessary input into the operating system paying close attention to accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform tasks in the Extrusion Department as assigned by the Supervisor of the Department.
- Develop or request assistance to implement the controls to verify the accuracy of inputs.
- Accumulate data, generate reports as required to provide management with necessary information to make production-related decision.
- Provide back up as requested to the Department Assistants.
- Facilitate Cycle Count assignments and reporting.
- Coordinate the tasks required to complete a Physical Inventory.
- Become familiar with MRP to maintain finished good stock in our Guadalajara, MX warehouse.
- Participate in plant safety initiatives.
- Communicate/interact with Management, Department Supervisors, and Hourly Personnel as required.
- In the absence of the Extrusion Supervisor, provide backup scheduling of orders.
- In the absence of the label maker provide backup to meet the requirements of this task.
- In the absence of the JDE Engineer, process the necessary daily reports.
- Must possess a High School Diploma or GED
- College level training desirable but not necessary, or two (2) to five (5) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent of educations and experience

- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
