Desktop Support Technician
Pay Rate $24.00 / hour
Duration : 3 month contract to permanent
Hours : Monday-Friday 730AM-430PM
Location : Akron, OH
Job Summary :
As a Desktop Technician, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our customers and proactively identifying their needs.
You’ll work to create the ideal experience that any customer would seek to encounter.
- Troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of the site.
- Communications, Hardware Break-Fix, Installing.
- Warranty Dell support.
- Mac experience is a plus.
- Certification Requirements : A / nice to have Dell / Lenovo / Mac
What You'll Do :
- Power up, install Windows updates and drivers, install any required applications
- Re-box the devices
- Create shipping labels and fix to box
- Ship the devices to end-user
- Monitor calls, incidents and requests using client provided ServiceNow tool
Who You Are :
- Experienced 1-3 years of related work experience, or AA degree, technical training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Solid experience and understanding of IT services and products.
- Enthusiastic about technology and willing to learn and stay on the cutting edge.
- Personable
- Relatable and responsible when interacting with ALL customers.
- Consultative approach to solving issues.
- Reliable
- Able to transform technical IT solutions lingo into terms everyone understands.
- Impeccable follow-through to customer satisfaction.
