Job purpose
The role of a Compliance Coordinator is to ensure that the company adheres to legal and regulatory requirements. Their responsibilities include assisting the Compliance Officer with developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance policies and procedures, monitoring and assessing compliance, and conducting internal audits and investigation. Additionally, assistance is required in providing guidance and training to employees on compliance matters and maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Responsibilities
Assist with development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements for the fintech industry.
Audit data, analyze information, and provide results to Compliance Officer in furtherance of monitoring and assessing compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Partner with the Compliance Officer to conduct internal audits and investigations to ensure compliance.
Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance matters.
Maintain accurate records and documentation including distribution of new and/or revised compliance related policies and procedures to all employees.
Qualifications
The position generally requires an individual to have the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Paralegal experience required.
Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance for the fintech industry.
Proficient at gathering and analyzing data.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
