Summary: The Service Desk Technician II at Pacific Seafood has a key role on our IT team to support team members company wide. The Service Desk Technician II will answer, evaluate, and prioritize incoming requests for assistance from team members experiencing problems with PCs, network printers, phone systems, and other computer-related technologies. The Service Desk Technician II role is ideal for someone who is a self-starter and can work independently. This role is required to participate in IT on-call rotation.Key Roles and Responsibilities: Service Desk Support:
  • Provide technical support/assistance to end-users through the service desk.
  • Provide local and remote user support and training. 
  • Identify and escalate complex or unresolved issues to Tier 3 support as needed.
System Configurations
  • Configure endpoints in Intune, Apple Business Manager, ERP, and other Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems including desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile scanners, production label makers, and printers. 
  • Configure, deploy, and support network printers.
  • Document all support interactions, including details of the issue and resolution, in the ticketing system.
Network Maintenance
  • Perform basic first-level LAN/WAN troubleshooting. 
  • Support and maintain Active Directory. 
  • Maintain user passwords on AS/400 and network. 
  • Assist in supporting and managing the phone system. 
  • Manage the asset inventory of endpoints. 
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as deemed necessary to support the overall goals and objectives of the position.
What You Bring to Pacific Seafood:
Required
 
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proven experience in a customer service or technical support role, preferably in a help desk or call center environment.
  • Minimum of two years of experience supporting networked computers running Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 applications, including MS Outlook.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in the setup and support of laptop and desktop hardware.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in MDM, Microsoft Intune, Azure/Entra, and on-prem Active Directory.
  • Basic understanding of LAN/WAN.
  • Valid driver’s license.
Preferred
  • Associate degree in IT and/or relevant certifications.
  • Experience with Zebra tablets and scanners.
  • Experience with Printer Logic and Cortex XDR.
  • Experience with AS/400 and/or phone support systems.
  • Experience in structured cabling.
  • Experience in cybersecurity, Mitel VOIP, SAP, Printer Logic, and Okta would be a plus.
Salary Range:  $54,000 – 64,000 Annually Total compensation:At Pacific Seafood your base wage is only a portion of your overall compensation package. We invest in our Team Members through a comprehensive and attractive total rewards package, including but not limited to:
