Essential Job Functions: |
Actively supports production floor, develop Work Instructions and tooling, disposition non-conforming material, perform Root Cause Corrective Action, implement Continuous Improvement and lead New Product Introduction. Work closely with team members to meet customer needs and on time delivery with a focus in quality and safety. Functions: • Identify, create, and apply manufacturing best practices and standards • Continually seek new manufacturing technology and processing methods that will improve the productivity, cost, quality, and agility of manufacturing • Develop robust, capable manufacturing processes for the assembly and machining of complex aerospace components • Serve, when required, as the manufacturing engineering representative on cross-functional projects |

Education and Experience: |
· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or 6 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing. · Must be skilled in the use of 3-D CAD software · Working knowledge of electrical assembly processes in soldering, harness assemblies, reading wiring diagrams, etc. · Knowledge of manufacturing principles, related to machining methods and inspection. · Software: SolidWorks, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with Publisher, Visual, Aras, CamWorks, and Cura is a plus. Preferred: · Experience in fixture design for production equipment · Experience with Honeywell manufacturing methods · Certification in J-STD-001 (Requirements for Soldered Assemblies) and/or IPC/WHMA-A-620 (Requirements for Harness Assemblies) · Root Cause and Corrective Action experience · Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) · FDM 3D Printing experience |
