Essential Job Function
Must have in-depth knowledge of a 14 CFR Part 145 repair station. This person would serve as the primary contact with the FAA/EASA and maintains contact with the PMI. Ensures compliance to FAA Part 145, EASA-145 requirements, and AS9100/ISO9001 Quality Management System.
. Ensure that the RSM/QCM and capabilities list are current and accurate. Coordinate with the FAA all revisions to these manuals.
Establishing the Training Program Manual, maintain the requirements for initial and recurrent training for personnel involved in the maintenance of civil aircraft articles.
Establish and maintain the repair station employment and training records. Ensures all employees performing Safety Sensitive work are included in the DOT anti-drug and alcohol program.
Establishing and maintaining Op Spec of articles with respect to the Operating Specifications Ratings held. Performs the repair stations "self-evaluation"to determine if an article can be added to the capability list, along with the repair station "Self-Audit" that is required per the Repair Station/Quality Assurance Manual.
Implementation of the company safety policy and human factor issues.
Maintain production schedules and the quality of work, by coordinating with the production planner and scheduling work on the floor to repair technicians to meet customer demand.
Coordinates with production planning inventory Usage, Kanban, “C” class, 2 bin systems to minimize part shortages
Maintain skills metrics for all R&O employees and assure the proper training and cross training of technicians is carried out and documented by Chief Inspector
Coordinates area and equipment maintenance, supplies, safety equipment and inventory with and Repair Manager
Assists the Chief Inspector with technician training, & the proper use of CMM’s and drawings
Involvement in new product installation, layout and certification with assistance from the Chief Inspector
Ensures all personnel adhere to shelf life and calibration limits
Troubleshoots problem areas as they relate to operations activities
Assists with inspection certifications, shipping and receiving when required
Assists in interviewing, hiring and performance reviews
Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience
High school, vocational school graduate, or equivalent experience. Specialized courses or seminars in supervisory and administrative subjects beneficial.
Attend training classes, special technical and administration courses, seminars, exhibits, and trade shows to keep abreast of and well informed on new developments pertinent to the operations supervised.
Bachelor’s Degree – plus
4 years of experience in the assembly/repair of precision parts and testing in related field.
