Overview:

As a Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the sales strategy and achieving revenue targets for the company. This position requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of sales techniques, and the ability to motivate and guide a high-performing sales team. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales plans, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership:
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a team of sales representatives.
  • Set sales targets and motivate the team to achieve and exceed them.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Sales Strategy:
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
  • Ensure excellent customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem resolution.
  • Monitor customer feedback and market trends to enhance products or services.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
  • Prepare and analyze sales reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on sales performance, forecasts, and market trends.
  • Product Knowledge:
  • Stay up-to-date on product features, benefits, and industry trends.
  • Train the sales team on product knowledge to enhance their selling abilities.
  • Sales Presentations:
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales presentations and materials.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients.
  • Budget Management:
  • Develop and manage the sales budget.
  • Ensure effective use of resources and cost control measures.
  • Negotiation and Closing:
  • Assist the sales team in negotiations and closing deals.
  • Resolve escalated issues and address customer concerns to facilitate successful sales transactions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales management, with a successful track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales performance data.
  • In-depth knowledge of sales techniques and strategies.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools.

The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the company's revenue growth and ensuring a positive customer experience. This position requires a results-driven individual with a strategic mindset and the ability to lead and inspire a high-performing sales team.

This is a full time position in the Birmingham office and is not remote.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
