Liska & Smith, PC a Fort Collins estate planning, probate, and elder law firm, is seeking a part-time to full-time administrative assistant/receptionist. Reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail are essential. We expect a regular work schedule during our normal office hours of 8am until 5pm Monday through Thursday and Fridays 8am until noon. This is not a virtual or hybrid position. In-person office time during set schedule is mandatory.
Responsibilities include answering telephones, scheduling clients, following an intake process to screen potential clients, running conflict checks, and basic administrative tasks, to include word processing, scanning, mailing, writing cover letters for bill pay, and filing. Professional interaction with clients, both in person and on the telephone, is an essential job function. Computer literacy (Microsoft Word and basic excel spreadsheets) is a necessity. This is not a paralegal position but would provide legal experience and exposure to a law firm setting. No previous legal experience necessary, but legal interest is preferred.
