Salary range: $110,000 - $130,000 (plus 10-15% bonus eligibility)

Role Overview:

The Category Manager (CAPEX and MRO) role focuses on overcoming significant challenges and meeting high expectations within the sector, crucial for supporting growth projects in America. This position involves developing and executing a comprehensive category strategy, managing key supplier relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and market trends.

Key Responsibilities include:

Strategic Sourcing & Procurement -

• Develop market analysis and source technologies for major capital expenditures (capex).
• Define and implement purchasing strategies to meet site and business unit needs.
• Identify categories for global spend negotiation through analysis.
• Develop and implement standard tendering documentation.
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and other requirements.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance.
• Identify and qualify new suppliers.
• Consolidate Company's requirements to optimize purchasing expenses.

Contract Management -

• Coordinate contract milestones, deliverables, and documentation.
• Manage import/export requirements and logistics.
• Ensure adherence to contractual obligations and manage any necessary changes.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues.

Project Management -

• Support stakeholders in formalizing project scope and specifications.
• Organize tenders and manage the supplier selection process.
• Oversee the execution of contracts and ensure performance achievement.
• Perform expediting activities to ensure project schedule adherence.
• Analyze market risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 7 years of experience in CAPEX, MRO, Strategic Sourcing, and Purchasing.
• Must have experience in a leadership position within Purchasing.
• Proficiency in managing multiple synergies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, such as SAP and Oracle.
