Job Title: Front-End Developer
Job Location: 100% Remote
Project Duration: 1 Years
Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Front-End Developer with extensive experience in developing and maintaining external-facing portals or applications, including micro-sites and landing pages. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-end development using modern techniques and frameworks and experience in healthcare systems, particularly Medicaid/Medi-Cal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the front-end architecture and components for various web applications.
- Create and update micro-sites and landing pages with a focus on usability and user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement user-centric solutions.
- Develop reference models of the enterprise, identify gaps, and create plans for transitioning to target architecture.
- Provide technical support and coordination to customers and IT project teams.
- Utilize modern front-end technologies and frameworks (e.g., HTML5, CSS3) for SharePoint and SaaS platforms.
- Conduct analysis and development in the context of Medicaid/Medi-Cal and healthcare systems.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, standards, and frameworks such as HIPAA and HITECH.
- Work with RESTful APIs and collaborate with backend developers to integrate front-end and backend components.
- Participate in Agile and DevOps practices, using tools like Jira for project management and Git/GitHub for version control.
- Continuously improve the user interface and user experience of web applications through iterative development and feedback.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Five (5) years of experience in system architecture, development, analysis, programming, or testing of external-facing portals or applications that include micro-sites and/or landing pages.
- Five (5) years of experience developing reference models of the enterprise; determining gaps between the current and target architecture and developing plans for transitioning to target architecture; and providing support and coordination to customers and IT project teams.
- Five (5) years of experience in front-end web development and front-end configuration capabilities for SharePoint and SaaS technologies using modern techniques and frameworks (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, CSS frameworks).
- Five (5) years of experience conducting analysis or development of the Medicaid/Medi-Cal or HealthCare systems.
- Education:
- Possess a bachelor’s degree.
Desirable Qualifications:
- API Development:
- Experience developing and consuming web-based RESTful APIs; work in team environments that use various methodologies.
- UI/UX Design:
- Experience designing, developing, maintaining, and updating the UI and UX. Experience in monitoring content, workflow usage, and effectiveness to accommodate software and business process changes.
- Digital Workplace Tools:
- Experience and knowledge of managing digital workplace tools and configuration management, identity management, and access management collaboration platforms, and other cloud-based services.
- Data Management:
- Experience in data management enterprise system solutions. Knowledge of business process management, workflow, and integration methods and tools.
- HealthCare Compliance:
- Experience developing and maintaining applications that comply with HealthCare Regulations, Standards, and Frameworks, including HIPAA, HITECH, and Privacy Practices.
- Development Methodologies:
- Experience with Agile and DevOps development methodologies. Experience with agile planning tools (e.g., Jira).
- Collaboration and Version Control:
- Experience collaborating and understanding application usage requirements, workflows, and features. Experience in using version control systems (e.g., Git and GitHub).
