Job Title: .NET Developer
Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite Houston, TX)
Duration: Full Time
Key Responsibilities:
Software Development:
- Develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions using C#, .NET CORE, and .NET MVC framework.
Frontend Development:
- Design and implement user interfaces using technologies such as Web Form, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, HTML, and JQuery.
Integration:
- Create integrations with external systems using REST APIs, ensuring seamless communication and data exchange.
API Development:
- Develop and maintain Windows Services, Web Services, and APIs, adhering to best practices and standards.
Version Control:
- Utilize code versioning tools such as Git for managing source code and collaborating with team members.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Deregulated Retail Energy (ERCOT, PJM, NYISO, NEPOOL) is required. Minimum 3 days onsite in the Houston office (non-negotiable).
- Proficiency in C#, .NET CORE, .NET MVC framework, Web Form, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, HTML, JQuery, WCF, ADO.NET, and client-side frameworks.
- Strong experience creating integrations using REST APIs.
- Familiarity with Windows Services, Web Services, and API development.
- Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
