Spring Cafe Aspen is Hiring a Chef De Cuisine Near New York, NY

Spring Cafe Aspen is a new all day cafe located in the Greenwich Village creating beautiful and approachable vegetarian fare. At Spring, we are committed to our values of using 100% organic ingredients while also purchasing from and supporting our local community. As the Chef De Cuisine at Spring Cafe Aspen, you will be expected to aid the team in the day to day operations of service and production. At Spring we have a strong mentality of a team centric environment, and you will have many hats to fill and be expected to help wherever is needed. Above all, we are looking for a leader to guide the staff and be an example of Spring Cafe’s values and goals. Past Executive Chef experience is a requirement. Tasks are but not limited to;

-Back of House Scheduling
-Expo and assisting on the line
-Assist with implementation of specials and during menu change
-Creating inventory procedures
-Product Inventory and ordering
-Assist/upkeep with food cost
-Payroll, Onboarding and training of new employees
-Events & Catering
-Department of Health training and consistency

Necessary Attributes/Experience:
-Vegan/Vegetarian Experience (recommended)
-Bilingual (English and Spanish) prefered but not requried
-Kitchen Management Experience
-Good communication skills
-Desire to grow within a company
