Job Title: Medical Lab Scientist/Medical Lab Technician
Location: Bluffton, OH
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
Job Summary:
Join our team as a Medical Lab Scientist/Medical Lab Technician in Bluffton, OH. This full-time night shift role involves performing various lab tests and maintaining quality control to provide accurate results. We offer a supportive environment with great community benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and process blood specimens.
- Maintain and troubleshoot lab equipment.
- Perform and document routine tests.
- Ensure quality control and accurate reporting.
- Provide excellent patient and staff interactions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma.
- Training as a telemetry tech or completion of a hospital-approved training program.
- Previous experience as a telemetry tech or EMT preferred.
- BLS certification required.
Equipment Used:
- Cerner Millennium PathNet (LIS)
- Beckman Coulter DxH690 & DxH520 (Hematology)
- Sysmex CA600 (Coagulation)
- Beckman Coulter AU700 (Chemistry)
- Immucor Echo (Blood Bank)
- Various microbiology tests and equipment
Shift Information:
Full Time - Nights
Pay Range: Competitive
Differential: Additional pay for hours worked between 15:00 - 06:00
Sign-On Bonus:
Generous sign-on bonus for 2 years of full-time service.
