Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Laboratory Scientist to join our team. As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, you will play a crucial role in conducting laboratory tests on patient specimens to provide accurate and timely results for medical diagnosis and treatment.

Duties:
- Perform a variety of complex laboratory tests in areas such as hematology, microbiology, immunology, chemistry, and blood banking.
- Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of laboratory procedures to analyze specimens.
- Conduct specimen collection processing, including venipuncture and other sample collection methods.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accurate results.
- Perform assays such as ELISA and CT scans to assist in patient diagnosis.
- Follow established protocols for specimen handling, processing, analysis, and result reporting.
- Maintain quality control procedures to ensure accuracy of test results.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field.
- Certification as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS).
- Strong knowledge of physiology and laboratory techniques.
- Proficiency in specimen collection processing and laboratory procedures.
- Experience with venipuncture, flow cytometry, and other diagnostic techniques is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week

Experience:

• Phlebotomy: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CNA (Preferred)
• Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
